Lots of dating & relationship experts & coaches give tips and advice on how to approach, meet, and attract women. But there’s more to it than even a solid set of exercises or practices to better yourself.

FEARLESS founder Brian Begin talks about balancing taking action, being productive, and working hard on your confidence and success meeting and attracting women…with rest, letting go of attachments to outcome, meditation, and other reflective practices.

For major, sustained, consistent success that doesn’t burn you out, you need cycles of work and rest. Even with daily practices. Get out there and get them done, but then relax on the goal you’re after…especially when it comes to your mind. If you’re constantly thinking about and obsessing over what you want can cause frustration, discouragement, and burnout if the goal isn’t coming to you as fast as you want.

Focusing too much on how much you want it – desire, as Brian talks about in the video – also implies lack…that you neither have the goal nor are complete without it. That isn’t the strongest mindset to have. And especially when it comes to women.

In the video, Brian advocates for getting excited over your goals (desires), but then dissolving that desire into choice – expectancy, and feeling good about reaching the goal. He talks about how he does that in his own life.

If all you do is consume knowledge but you avoid practicing and stepping into manageable amounts of tension, you’re not going to grow very much. (We love you spending more time on the website and buying our products, but you’ve gotta get out there and practice consistently!) On the other hand, if you push yourself too much and never reflect and relax, you may burn out or get heavy and resentful of your practices, which isn’t going to help you get the goal. Like so many things, it’s about balance.
