Pulling the trigger too quickly…or maybe more accurately, not having good control of your trigger-finger: Almost all of us men have struggled with getting too excited and turned on, too quickly and “blowing it.” Aka it’s medical/scientific term, premature ejaculation.

Now, maybe the “premature” part of this is something you don’t think you really have an issue with and you have a lot of good sex…but you find yourself less motivated to do other things after. Or you just wish you had the same motivation and drive in other parts of your life that you do when you’re in bed with a woman.

This stuff is all connected. (And by the way, daily masturbaters, this applies to you, too!)

Ruwan Meepagala is a friend of mine and a great sex, relationships, and creativity coach for men and women. He’s been featured in Psychology Today, AskMen.com, The Good Men Project, Orgasm Daily, and many other publications. His approach and many of his teachings are right in line with those of FEARLESS, so that’s why I wanted to share this free course he’s teaching with you.

If premature ejaculation (P.E.) is an issue for you, the importance of learning control should be obvious – it can be frustrating to deal with and be a big drain on your confidence in the bedroom as well as even, at some level, from saying “hello” to a woman you’re attracted to. And just lead to unsatisfying sex – both for her and for you.

But like I said, and like Ruwan talks about in the video above, the ability to control your own arousal and your energy, drive, and focus in other parts of your life are all connected.

Both ejaculating and replacing your supply of mini-yous (semen) takes a lot of energy. And I’m sure you’ve had the experience of feeling depleted, exhausted, or just a little less motivated after you’ve cummed. All of a sudden you go from being pretty into the girl you’re with, to “meh.” Or motivated to take on your day before morning sex or morning masterbation, to a little lethargic or lazy.

And learning to abstain from ejaculating (not necessarily sex) really can, as Ruwan puts it in the video, unlock your full potential.

I’ve seen this be true for many of my clients. Many have taken on “NoFap” (no masturbation) challenges and found they’re quickly much more motivated to walk up to women and flirt with them in general, and really stay committed to their specific exercises around approaching women. Not jerking off – not releasing that tension and energy – really keeps them driven, focused, and growing their confidence and success with women at a faster rate.

They keep and develop that masculine, sexual edge. That edge that makes women think (and sometimes say) “Damn! Who is this guy?” and get turned on just by your presence and vibe…along with how you’re interacting with them a little differently. Remember, women operate based heavily on emotions and subtleties, so even small, little changes in you can make a big difference in the dynamic and vibe of your interactions with women.

It’s about how you handle and relate to tension – one of the most important things I teach about at FEARLESS, and something that Ruwan mentions in the video: how controlling your arousal and the frequency of your ejaculations can change how you handle tension with people.

Clients of mine doing “NoFap” have also noticed their drive and energy for the rest of their lives improve as well. Again, it’s that masculine, sexual edge and energy applied elsewhere. It’s that focus, that maybe even just slightly angry hunter in you.

Because as Ruwan talks about, we’re wired to create life – to procreate. Sex is a physical and biological transference of energy intended to further the circle of life by creating more life.

But we can create a lot of other things with that same energy when it’s channeled the right way.

It can change how you feel and the vibe you put out as a man, the dynamics of your relationship with your girlfriend or wife…and how you operate throughout life.

So you run towards tension and those big goals – like the Richard Bransons and Elon Musks of the world – rather than finding excuses or losing the focus and drive to take action and stay the course.
