On Monday, we started a list of TED Talks all men should watch – here are 7 more to soak up as you expand into an even better, more confident, FEARLESS Man.

Editor’s Note: This post was originally published in September 2018.

11. Smash fear, learn anything | Tim Ferriss
Productivity guru Tim Ferriss talks about science and efficiency of learning new skills like swimming, language learning, and ballroom dancing…and ties it all back to your fears.

12. What I learned From 100 Days Of Rejection | Jia Jiang
Most people avoid it like the plague, but facing your fears of rejection can be a limitlessly powerful tool in your life. Rejection Proof author Jia Jiang takes you through his journey of rejection and the power of asking for what you want.

13. Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are | Amy Cuddy
Your body language affects both how you’re perceived by others and how you feel about yourself. Social Psychologist Amy Cuddy shows how “Power Posing” can affect your brain’s testosterone and cortisone levels and even impact your chances of success. (Just remember to combine body language tips with meditative practices and physical/emotional feeling in your body-don’t rely on body language alone to shift your beingness as a man, or deny how you’re truly feeling.)

14. Looks Aren’t Everything. Believe Me, I’m a Model. | Cameron Russell
This one may really make you think differently about – and even change your interactions with – the gorgeous women you meet and see around town. It’s easy and tempting from the outside looking in to resentfully think “hot girls” have it made in life, but (not only does that attitude do nothing to serve your growth and confidence as a man) that assumption is often missguided. Cameron Russell takes you through some of her life as a model and the benefits and simultaneous, ironic drawbacks and shortfalls of winning, as she puts it, the “genetic lottery.”

15. How To Speak So That People Want To Listen | Julian Treasure
In part one of our list, the sound expert taught you about being a great listener. Now he’s back on the list to take you through the “seven deadly sins” of conversation that most of us are guilty of to some degree. After he teaches you what to eliminate from your conversations, Treasure takes you through “creating sound consciously” to help you become a magnetic conversationalist.

16. What Makes A Good Life? Lessons From The Longest Study On Happiness | Robert Waldinger
Many of us fall into the trap of chasing fame and/or money, thinking that will bring us happiness and life satisfaction. But it isn’t just anecdotes and quotes from the old and wise that suggest otherwise – the data seems to corroborate their stories. Psychiatrist Robert Waldinger directed a 75-year study on happiness, and he shares his three most important lessons from the study.

17. Extreme Wingsuit Flying | Ueli Gegenschatz
We close out our list of the top TED Talks you should watch as a man with a presentation from a man who later died in an extreme sports accident. Why? Because committing yourself to something you truly love, regardless of the risks, is extremely powerful for your masculinity, confidence, and certainly your happiness. There’s a good chance following your dream is nowhere near as dangerous as flying wingsuits (or BASE jumping-the related sport Gegenschatz died doing), so what do you really, truly have to lose? And Gegenschatz died doing and having excelled at an elite level doing something he loved. Not enough men today can say any of that about their own lives.
