Why you should think like successful people and invest in flying business or first class on long haul flights.

FEARLESS Coach Dave Stultz talks about why he’s spending the money to fly business class throughout his October 2015 world tour and why you should seriously consider this investment in yourself and your success.

Travel tends to be exhausting, especially for long-haul and international journeys with long flights and major and/or multiple time-zone adjustments. Jet lag alone isn’t going to help you close that deal, get that job or promotion, perform your best, or even just make the most of the big vacation you’re already investing your valuable time and money in. And economy class-these days especially-on those long journeys? Do we really need to even explain?

Don’t think like the majority-the majority of people aren’t extremely successful. They’re living in fear and attachment to security. They’re afraid to spend money on themselves and value bargain-hunting and the price-tag over everything else. Often, they spend so much time trying to get the “best deal” that it costs them countless opportunities to grow and succeed at a higher level-it costs them time, mental and/or emotional energy, health…which they end up paying for later (literally and figuratively)…and other conveniences, which again, they end up paying for one way or another.

Model successful people. Network with successful people. Sometimes, that means investing more in travel. You’re going to be SO much better rested, relaxed, and clear-headed. And while you don’t want to rely on external things as a crutch for your confidence and how you feel about yourself, you’re naturally going to have extra pep in your step flying business and investing in yourself at a higher level. You’ll also be putting yourself in a better environment for meeting other successful and like-minded people.

Sometimes, the journey and your success and development means living in a van as Dave did for a time. As Jim Carry did in his car. But sometimes it’s about investing in yourself above your comfort zone – thinking and operating like the successful people you want to be like. If you’re traveling internationally or across the country, especially for business or performance, get yourself there in optimal physical, mental, and emotional condition so you can maximize your experience and your success.
