In this video, I answer a viewer question about how to stop being too sensitive and get better with women.

If you tend to be too sensitive or people tell you things like “you’re so sensitive,” you probably have some “nice guy syndrome,” or codependency issues. “No More Mr Nice Guy” by Dr. Robert Glover is a must-read for you. I dealt with this myself – I was very codependent and sensitive to everyone…and had NO luck with women. Those things do often go together – “nice guy syndrome,” being overly sensitive in general, and sucking with women. Because being too sensitive means you care too much and worry too much about what others think. And that often leads to being a “nice guy,” to avoid things like confrontation, people criticizing you, and women rejecting you. You’re doing everything out of fear and insecurity and wanting to avoid all the things and situations you’re sensitive to. If any of this paragraph describes you but you think being a “nice guy” is a good thing, then you definitely need to read Dr. Glover’s book. And here’s one of the videos I did on Nice Guy Syndrome: Why Nice Guys Finish Last – Nice Guys Aren’t Nice | Inside FEARLESS #13

You need to develop a sense of indifference to outcome so you’re not so reactive (which manifests as being overly sensitive) to people’s behaviors, women especially. You need to develop a sense of being able to relax under tension. To be proactive with tension. Developing these qualities will naturally start to get you to stop being too sensitive. People who are indifferent to outcome and good with tension don’t get overly sensitive easily. They seem more solid, relaxed, confident, and grounded.

To do this, practice grounding techniques. Daily for 30 minutes to an hour, like exercise. In no time, you’ll see people beginning to respond to you differently and you’ll be less reactive (sensitive) to them. In the video, I teach you some specific ones for emotional sensitivity, and you can learn more on general grounding practices in this video: 5 Steps To Develop and Become a Grounded Man

Enjoy the video, and get out there and start practicing. And be consistent.
